Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the thriller Precious. At the age of a girl Paula Patton grew up in an Los Angeles middle-class household. Her mother loved films and was able to instill the love of movies in the girl. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular activities in school, but she had an interest in drama. She enjoyed acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided that acting was her chosen career. She attended the University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and enjoyed her stint. The program was awarded to her by PBS to make documentaries for 3 months. When she finished the three-month assignment successfully Her first assignment was working in the production department for documentaries on television. Her next step was to start producing documentaries. While she was awed by her work however, she always wanted being an actor. The path to acting began when she had an unimportant role with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
