Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist from Newark New Jersey on 9th August 1963. Their parents include gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard), and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. Her mother and she started singing professionally at New Hope Baptist Church of Newark in the year Whitney was just fifteen years old.
