Jillian Noel Shennessy born November 25, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician that was honored for her outstanding contribution to American television. She's famous for her outstanding performances on the American TV series Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also displayed her talent as an actor through films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she played co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy was first noticed in 1988, alongside her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. The actress starred on Broadway for the Broadway musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990, and then entered the sci-fi world in 1993 as the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Following that the biggest breakthrough came when she was cast in NBC's smash show Law & Order to play the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. This role captivated the audience for three seasons, until she left it in 1996.
